Mykonos has a huge number of beds for such a small Island and in high season all are occupied. There is a wide range of hotels available with every taste and budget catered for from the small family run pension to the beautiful 5 star boutique hotels. The days of only simple village rooms has long gone and over the last few years many 4 or 5 star hotels have been built in fantastic locations with facilities to match, such as suites with there own private Jacuzzi or plunge pool overlooking the beautiful azure sea.

Camping
Mykonos has two camping options, the original at PARADISE beach and the newer site at PARANGA beach, both are on the back of great beaches with good facilities, mini markets, tavernas, bars and so on. On both sites it is possible to rent simple cabins/bungalows as well as pitching tents, local bus transport is available to the town.

Santorini hotels - Where to stay in Santorini
Santorini is a fascinating island and is a place that should be on everybody's list of places to visit during there life time. The island experienced a volcanic eruption of such magnitude that it destroyed not only the islands population but populations on neighboring islands including the Minoan empire on Crete. The Capital of Fira is still a great place to stay, however the island can offer many other options all offering something a little different from each other, depending on what your requirements are Santorini will surely have some thing for you.
Fira
Being the Capital of the island and the first place with accommodation it is still a top choice. Amazing views across the Aegean from the Caldera edge, a maze of windy streets dotted with shops, boutiques, cafes, bars and a host of restaurants are just a few things to bring you to this unforgettable holiday town. The town still manages to offer a special atmosphere, it has become a little over touristic but still has a great laid back feel about the place. Good nightlife and some real good coffee shops for that all important breakfast espresso!
Oia
This small up market resort located to the north of Santorini is now a popular destination for honeymoons and weddings. This is due to its marvelous location, quality chic hotels and amazingly romantic atmosphere. Many of the hotels are built into the cliff edge offering unbelievable views, with top end facilities and individual design, many are what is known as "Cave hotels" being built into the rock itself. The resort prices are higher than other areas of Santorini, they are in fact higher than most parts of Greece, only Mykonos can match it on style and price. However as they say, you get what you pay for!
Perissa Beach
The resort features a long black sand beach with good facilities including many tavernas and good sport facilities. Popular destination with backpackers due to some good value rooms and a lively camping site. Perissa is popular with young people or those looking for lively nights, many bars and a few late night disco/clubs. Good local transport to the capital of Fira.
Kamari
This is the only area that is what could be described as a main stream Mediterranean holiday resort, it offers a number of good quality holiday hotels and various shops, mini markets, cafes, bars and many restaurants. The beach is black sand, but offers good bathing and many tourist facilities including sunbeds/parasols for rent.

Naxos Island - Where to stay?
Naxos is the largest of the Cyclades group of islands and is for sure one of the most beautiful. The island has a lively town with a run of cafes, bars and restaurants stretching along the harbour front. To the back of the town you find a maze of narrow streets that are common place on these amazing islands, again here many cafes and restaurants are dotted throughout the town. If your looking to stay in the town itself it is possible to find numerous small pension style hotels, with a number of more modern style properties located down towards the town beach. Just outside the town are a number of lovely beach resorts, they are all low key offering a few cafes, shops, mini markets and a good choice of restaurants. The beaches on the west coast of Naxos are some of the best beaches to be found in all of Greece, offering soft powder sand and incredibly clear seas.
Agios Prokopios
The resort of Agios Prokopios is about a 10 minute bus journey from the town, here you have a marvelous sweep of beach with amazingly clear sea. The resort offers a good choice of accommodation, small budget aparthotels, family run hotels and some recent additions that offer up to the minute facilities. Agios Prokopios is a lovely holiday resort that will appeal to most tastes, couples, families and even groups of friends that are not in search of crazy nightlife but instead a Greek holiday with beautiful beaches and chilled out atmosphere.
Agia Anna
Located just beyond Prokopios, the two resorts are now joined and are very similar in atmosphere. The beach here is the same soft powder sand and with a selection of local amenities. Accommodation is available in the form of small hotels and family run apartment style properties. A good choice of budget accommodation is available which makes it a perfect choice if your wanting to spend some time in a lovely beach location but keep costs down. Onlky during the months of July and August are rates a little higher with accommodation hard to find. Agia Anna is just a 10 minute walk from the beach of Plaka, this is one of the best to be found not only on Naxos, but maybe the whole of Greece. A good local bus service operates from Naxos town coming to Agia Anna and beyond to Plaka beach, this service normally operates until midnight in high summer.
Plaka
Until just a few years ago Plaka had just a few village rooms for rent and the camping area of Maragas. It was a haven for the young and people looking for an hedonistic escape from modern life. In truth it has not changed that much, a small amount of development has appeared with some good quality hotels and a further campsite being opened further along the beach. It has not changed the feel of the area that much, the beach is an absolute beauty, with clean clear sea and the curve of sand stretches for around 7 kms. The further you walk along the beach, the fewer people you will see and the less clothing they will be wearing!. A few Tavernas are dotted along the back of the beach, making it easy to pop in for a lovely cold beer and a nice bit of lunch. Plaka is still a perfect choice for those who want to chill out and feel that they are escaping from the hustle of modern day life, an absolute pleasure.
Mikri Vigla
Small but perfect for a get away from it all break. Offering a small choice of holiday accommodation, mini market and a few tavernas, thats Mikra Vigla. The beach is another fantastic stretch of soft sand, going on for many kilometers and linking up with the hamlet of Kastraki. The small coves that are on the back side of Vigla are maybe the best for late afternoon relaxation. Looking across to the island of Paros, to sit and look across the tranquil Aegean as the sun sets is just heaven. Mikri Vigla is top draw for those wanting to chill and unwind.
